Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8th August 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all enquiries, bookings, sessions, and interactions with the individual providing the services (the "Practitioner" or the "Hypnotherapist") and with Be More Vibrant Hypnotherapy (the "Practice") on or after this date.
The services incorporate clinical hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), smoking cessation, and weight management therapies. By accessing this website, making an enquiry, booking a session, or interacting with the Practice in any way, across any platform or channel of communication, the individual doing so (the "Client") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Services Offered
Treatment can be provided by techniques such as: hypnosis, NLP (Neuro- Linguistic Programming) or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
The description of the services that I offer is listed under ‘Popular Services’, ‘Other Services’ and ‘Corporate’ but is not limited to those conditions. Clients can send an enquiry asking for personalized treatment based on their specific needs. Additional information can be found in the section ‘Prices’.
2. Length of the sessions
The first session lasts around 120min.
The follow up sessions last around 60min-120min.
3. Location of the appointment
I provide hypnotherapy sessions at 6 Fernle Drive, Linton, DE12 6QR. Hypnotherapy sessions are not delivered to individual Clients outside of this address.
Additionally, I offer talks, presentations, and corporate sessions at various other locations.
4. Appointments & Payment
To book an appointment, Client can contact the Practitioner on: bemorevibrant.hypnotherapy@gmail.com
The standard fee for an individual session is £68.00. Payment is due in full at the time of booking to secure Client’s scheduled time slot, and all bookings are subject to the cancellation policy (as per point 5 of this Terms and Conditions). Hypnotherapist accepts PayPal and bank transfer payments.
Individual Clients- Once a date or dates have been provisionally agreed for the session or sessions and the intake forms have been completed, the Practitioner will review the forms to confirm service suitability. Following this confirmation, the Client can conveniently purchase their preferred programme or a single session through the website and pay securely through PayPal.
Client is to simply select the package from either 'Popular Services' or 'Other Services' and choose the session they have agreed with a Practitioner. If Client prefers to make payment via bank transfer, Client to contact Practitioner directly and Hypnotherapist will provide with the necessary details.
Number of services are offered in the form of packages, with each one priced individually as displayed on the website. To book additional appointments, Client purchases an individual session each time or a package.
If Client requires support with a condition that is not listed on the website, Client is to contact Hypnotherapist to enquire. Acceptance of unlisted conditions is entirely at the Practitioner's professional discretion following an initial assessment. Where accepted, the standard fee is £68.00 per session. Discounts may occasionally be offered at the Practitioner's sole discretion for multi-session bookings. Any such discount is treated as a case-by-case exception and does not guarantee reduced pricing for future appointments or new bookings for the same Client.
Corporate Services and Group Bookings- Client may wish to book any of Practitioner’s group sessions, workshops, corporate events, talks, or presentations.
Pricing and session structures will be provided to Client as a custom quote during enquiry. This covers both listed services and completely unlisted or custom requests.
Securing the Booking- Bookings for corporate Clients and organized group events are secured only upon written confirmation. Signed agreement or the payment of the agreed deposit or fee is also required to secure the date.
Cancellation and Preparation Fees - These tailored services require significant preparation time and involve reserving specific dates to complete the work. Because of this, corporate and group bookings have their own cancellation notice periods. These notice periods will be given to the Client in writing at the time of their booking. If Client cancel the booking, any fees retained or charged for preparation work will be limited to a proportionate amount reflecting the actual work already completed or expenses incurred up to the point of cancellation. Fees for fully delivered events are strictly non-refundable.
Punctuality and Attendance- Group and corporate events must start and end at the agreed times. If Client’s group or staff arrive late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. The full agreed fee remains payable for shortened sessions.
The booking organization or group leader is fully responsible for the conduct and suitability of all attendees.
Intellectual Property and Recording- All presentation slides, digital materials, worksheets, and therapeutic techniques used during these events remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Practitioner.
The recording of audio, video, or taking photographs during any presentation, talk, or session is strictly prohibited unless Practitioner gives Client written permission beforehand.
5. Payment, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy
5.1 Payment
Full payment via bank transfer or PayPal is required to secure the appointment. This payment must clear prior to the start of the session. Cash payments are not accepted. There is a cancellation policy in place due to the time and costs involved in preparing for the session and the lost opportunity to offer this appointment to another Client. Two-hour slot is specifically reserved for the Client.
5.2 Bookings made 15 days or more in advance
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if a client schedules an appointment 15 days or more before the appointment date, the Client has a statutory right to a 14-day cooling-off period. This 14-day statutory cooling-off period begins on the day the contract is concluded, which is defined as the exact date the booking is officially confirmed by the Practitioner, regardless of when the payment is subsequently made. The Client may cancel the booking for any reason within this 14-day window to receive a full refund of any fees paid. Once this 14-day statutory period has expired, any further cancellations or rescheduling will be strictly subject to the 72-hour cancellation policy.
5.3 Bookings made within 14 days of the appointment
If a Client schedules an appointment that takes place within 14 days of booking (including last-minute or same-day bookings), the Client is making an express request under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for the hypnotherapy service to begin within the statutory cancellation window. The Client acknowledges that once the session has commenced or been fully delivered, the statutory right to a refund is lost. If a Client cancels a short-notice booking with less than 72 hours' notice, the Client agrees to pay for the service preparation and reservation costs already incurred, which will equal the full session fee as permitted under the regulations.
5.4 General Cancellation and Rescheduling
Outside of the active statutory 14-day cooling-off period described above, a strict 72-hour cancellation policy applies to all appointments:
• With more than 72 hours' notice, the Client may reschedule the appointment or cancel for a full refund. Subject to point 5.7 of this Terms and Conditions.
• With less than 72 hours' notice, including same-day cancellations or no-shows, the full session fee is non-refundable. This covers the preparation work already completed and the lost opportunity to offer this dedicated time to another Client.
• Once a session has taken place, it is considered a completed service and is completely non-refundable.
5.5 Cancellations initiated by the Practice
The Practitioner reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments only under exceptional, unavoidable circumstances (such as illness, injury, or emergencies). In the rare event that the Practitioner must cancel a session, the Client will have the option to receive a full refund for that specific session or reschedule the appointment. The Practice will not provide financial compensation or reimbursement for any external costs or personal losses incurred by the Client (such as pre-booked travel expenses, hotel fees, or other arrangements) resulting from an unavoidable cancellation. By proceeding with payment and scheduling appointments, the Client is agreeing to these terms and conditions.
5.6 Lateness and No-Show
Clients are expected to arrive punctually for their scheduled appointments. If a Client is late, the session will still conclude at the originally agreed time and no discount or fee reduction will be provided for the lost time. If a Client is more than 20 minutes late, the appointment will be treated as a no-show and will be cancelled entirely. In these circumstances, the full session fee is entirely non-refundable to cover the reserved time and Practitioner’s preparation.
5.7 Appointment Rescheduling Limits
To ensure scheduling efficiency and maintain fair availability for all Clients, the Practice operates a limit on repeated calendar changes. If a Client reschedules or cancels their scheduled appointment slots more than two (2) times within a single treatment plan or package, the Practitioner reserves the right to decline further booking requests or bring the service agreement to a conclusion.
Financial Outcomes and Refunds
In the event that the Practice initiates the termination of an active agreement due to repeated scheduling changes, the financial outcome will follow standard fair parameters.
· Fees for sessions already delivered or cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice remain completely non-refundable.
· Any prepaid fees for future sessions that have not yet been attended will be refunded in full.
· The refund will be processed directly back to the original PayPal account for payments originally made via PayPal. If payment was originally made via bank transfer, the Client is required to provide their valid bank account name, sort code, and account number via the same email address they used for the original booking, so that a secure return transfer can be completed.
· Where an outstanding session was offered as a complimentary or free part of a prepaid package, any refund will be calculated by taking the total aggregate amount paid for that package and dividing it equally by the total number of sessions included in that package.
· Separately, if a complimentary session was gifted entirely outside of a prepaid package as a gesture of goodwill, that session carries a cash value of zero pounds and no refund or financial compensation will be owed for it by the hypnotherapy Practice.
6. Number of Sessions, Results Disclaimer and Refund Policy
Every Client and every case is different. Therefore, the same results cannot be guaranteed for everyone. No guarantees are offered, given, or implied regarding the results of any sessions, presentations, talks, workshops or events. The Practitioner cannot commit to a specific, definitive number of sessions required to achieve the Client's desired results.
The packages listed on the website under 'Popular Services' and 'Other Services' contain a set number of sessions. These numbers are indicative estimates only. They must not be interpreted as a guaranteed fix.
The potential timeframe and number of sessions for unlisted conditions or custom enquiries will be explained during the initial enquiry. The Client accepts that any numbers provided are strictly estimates and do not constitute a guarantee.
Each individual's progress and response to the services provided can vary significantly. Additional appointments beyond any listed package or individual sessions may be necessary. The Client is expected to understand and accept this natural therapeutic uncertainty prior to booking.
As long as there is a strong intention and commitment from the Client to make changes in their specific area of work, this is the most important step towards a successful outcome. Clients are responsible for the cost of all sessions, events, or presentations purchased and attended.
Fees are paid strictly for the Practitioner’s time, bespoke preparation, professional expertise, and service delivery, which will always be provided with reasonable care and skill. Because time and preparation cannot be recovered once a service has been purchased, scheduled, or delivered, fees for completed sessions or booked corporate or group events are not refundable, and no refund will be issued based on the clinical outcome of the therapy.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Be More Vibrant Hypnotherapy is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the Client's personal information.
Refer to the Privacy Policy on the website for exact details on how the Practitioner collects, uses, and discloses personal information (in specific circumstances) when the Client uses the website or engages in the services.
The Practitioner is based in the UK and governed by English law. The Practice is registered under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and is listed on the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) register. The ICO is the UK's independent regulator for data protection and privacy, overseeing compliance with data protection laws.
Under the UK GDPR, the Practitioner collects and processes the Client's personal information using contractual necessity (to manage and fulfil session appointments), legitimate interests (for clinical record-keeping, standard business administration, and tax bookkeeping), and the provision of health or social care treatment regarding sensitive health data.
Confidentiality will only be breached under the following limited circumstances:
• With the Client's consent or at their direction (such as requesting information to be shared with their GP).
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities.
• To protect the safety of the Client, the safety of their family members, or other members of the public.
• To protect the Practitioner's rights, safety, property, business, or the safety of others.
The Practitioner does not sell or rent the Client's personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. The Client has the right to request access to their records at any time. If the Client has any questions or concerns regarding how their data is handled, they should contact the Practitioner directly via email. The Practitioner will review and respond to the query within 30 calendar days. If the concern cannot be resolved together, the Client has the right to escalate the matter to the ICO.
9. Important Considerations for Clients
There are some considerations that Clients should be aware of when booking and attending treatment.
Emotional Release- Hypnotherapy can bring up intense emotions or memories that may be uncomfortable for the Client, which often forms part of the therapeutic process. The Hypnotherapist provides appropriate support and guidance to help the Client navigate these experiences safely within the session. The Client acknowledges that temporary emotional shifts may occur and accepts responsibility for their personal well-being during sessions and outside of scheduled appointment times.
Reactivation of Trauma- Hypnotherapy can trigger repressed memories or traumatic experiences for individuals with a history of trauma. The Hypnotherapist supports the Client's well-being throughout the session to navigate this safely. Attendance and completion of a session serves as automatic confirmation that the Client has received appropriate instruction on using resources (verbal tools and verbal techniques) to support themselves. The Client holds full responsibility for practicing and utilizing the emotional regulation techniques and tools taught to them during the sessions to manage their responses independently inside and outside the sessions. It is the Client's responsibility to inform the Hypnotherapist during the appointment if they require further clarification or feel unable to apply the tools. The hypnotherapy Practice does not monitor emails and answering phone calls 24/7. The hypnotherapy Practice is not a crisis management or 24-hour emergency service, and the Client agrees to take full responsibility for utilizing external medical resources or emergency services if they experience severe distress between sessions.
Feeling Sleepy Afterwards- Some individuals may experience a temporary state of feeling very relaxed or sleepy as a result of the session. This typically resolves quickly. The Client holds sole and absolute legal responsibility for assessing their own alertness and ensuring they are entirely fit to drive a vehicle, cycle, use public transport, walk safely, or operate any machinery after an appointment. It is the Client's responsibility to plan their travel arrangements and allow appropriate time to fully alert themselves before departing. The Client is responsible for their personal choices once they leave the session.
10. Disclaimer and Nature of Service
Hypnotherapy is a relatively short-term, solution-focused modality designed to target specific goals. It is not an open-ended, long-term, or indefinite therapy. Because the sessions are targeted and goal-oriented, the Practice does not provide ongoing, open-ended emotional support.
Each individual issue or area of work is treated as a separate, self-contained block of work with its own natural conclusion.
11. Hypnotherapy Practice Right to Discontinue and Terminate Services
The Practitioner retains the right to discontinue services and terminate any active service agreement at any stage of the treatment process. This right may be exercised due to personal or private circumstances. These include health, availability, or other personal reasons. It may also be exercised due to professional and clinical observations regarding the suitability or safety of the ongoing treatment.
The Practice is under no agreement obligation to continue delivering sessions if the Practitioner decides to bring the relationship to an end, resulting in unfinished treatment. The Client agrees that if the Practice stops the treatment, their past attended sessions are non-refundable. The Client cannot hold the Practice responsible simply because a structured program or a series of individual sessions was not finished.
Financial Outcomes and Refunds
In the event that the Practice initiates the termination of an active agreement, the financial outcome will follow standard fair parameters.
· Any prepaid fees for future sessions that have not yet been attended will be refunded in full.
The refund will be processed directly back to the original PayPal account for payments originally made via PayPal. If payment was originally made via bank transfer, the Client is required to provide their valid bank account name, sort code, and account number via email so that a secure return transfer can be completed.
· Where a session was offered as a complimentary or free part of a prepaid package, any refund will be calculated by taking the total aggregate amount paid for that package and dividing it equally by the total number of sessions included in that package.
· If a complimentary session was gifted entirely outside of a prepaid package as a gesture of goodwill, that session carries a cash value of zero pounds and no refund or financial compensation will be owed for it by the hypnotherapy Practice.
12. Independence of Separate Service Agreements
Where a Client wishes to address more than one issue, each separate area of work or topic is treated as an entirely independent, self-contained agreement.
The Client acknowledges that for therapeutic continuity, future sessions may naturally overlap, interconnect, or revisit verbal techniques, resources, and materials introduced in previous work. The revisiting or overlapping of these materials does not merge the distinct topics into a single continuous service. It does not create a single ongoing agreement.
Subsequent Blocks of Work
The completion or delivery of sessions for one specific goal does not create any contractual obligation, guarantee, or expectation that the Practice will accept, commence, or deliver sessions for any subsequent or more complex areas of work.
The Practitioner retains professional and contractual discretion to decline to enter into any new block of work or to address any subsequent issues at the conclusion of a current package or as a result of individual sessions.
All sessions attended and delivered are complete services in their own right, and fees paid for completed sessions are strictly non-refundable. The Practitioner's decision not to accept a subsequent block of work or additional individual sessions does not entitle the Client to a refund, financial reimbursement, or discount on any previously completed sessions.
13. Complementary Therapy and Professional Criteria
The Client is required to review the following professional criteria before booking. By proceeding with a booking, the Client agrees to these terms under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13.1 Age Threshold
This Practice is dedicated to providing services to adults aged 21 and over only.
13.2 Scope of Practice and Exclusions
Hypnotherapy, NLP, and EMDR are complementary therapies. They are not substitutes for psychiatric or medical care. This Practice strictly cannot accommodate individuals diagnosed with, or experiencing symptoms of: bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, personality disorders, clinical depression, severe mental health conditions, suicidal thoughts or engaging in self-harm.
For Client safety and wellbeing, this Practice also cannot accommodate Clients with a personal history of past self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or suicide attempts. These conditions fall entirely outside the clinical scope of this Practice and require specialized medical management.
Deep therapeutic processing can occasionally resurface hidden emotional blocks or past distress. This requires psychiatric or medical management rather than a complementary therapy’s treatment.
Refusal of service under these criteria is based strictly on professional competence and Client safety.
13.3 Emergent Mental Health Needs
This Practice does not provide treatment, management, or crisis support for severe mental health conditions, suicidal thoughts, or self-harm. These safety needs may arise or become apparent while a Client is receiving service. This applies both during live sessions and outside of scheduled appointments. These Client’s needs fall outside the scope of a complementary therapy. The sessions will be brought to an immediate and supportive conclusion. The Client will be directed to seek immediate assistance from their GP, emergency services, or a medical specialist.
Any prepaid fees for future sessions that have not yet been attended will be refunded in full, while fees for sessions already delivered remain completely non-refundable. The refund will be processed directly back to the original PayPal account for payments originally made via PayPal
If payment was originally made via bank transfer, the Client is required to provide their valid bank account name, sort code, and account number via their registered booking email address – used to contact the Hypnotherapist and book sessions – so that a secure return transfer can be completed.
Where an outstanding session was offered as a complimentary or free part of a prepaid package, any refund will be calculated by taking the total aggregate amount paid for that package and dividing it equally by the total number of sessions included in that package.
Separately, if a complimentary session was gifted entirely outside of a prepaid package as a gesture of goodwill, that session carries a cash value of zero pounds and no refund or financial compensation will be owed by the hypnotherapy Practice.
13.4 Physical Health Exclusions (Epilepsy)
This Practice is unable to offer services to individuals with a personal history of epilepsy, fits, blackouts, or any form of epileptic or non-epileptic symptoms. Certain techniques can occasionally trigger or worsen Client’s condition. This exclusion is maintained strictly for Client physical safety and professional competence boundaries.
13.5 Substance Use and Attendance
Clients must not be under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or non-prescribed sedatives during any session. Substance use impairs the therapeutic process and presents a serious safety risk. Being under the influence will result in the immediate termination of that attended session without a refund. All remaining future sessions under the contract will also be terminated. Any remaining prepaid sessions will be refunded using the standard package math outlined in clause 13.3.
13.6 Emergency Safeguarding and Data Protection
In the event of an emergency where the Practitioner believes a Client is at imminent risk of harming themselves or others, the Practitioner reserves the right to contact emergency services directly without prior consent. Relevant details will be shared with medical or emergency personnel strictly to ensure personal or public safety, in accordance with professional duty of care and the GHR Code of Ethics.
14. Accuracy of Client Disclosures & Safe Transition of Care
14.1 Obligation of Honesty
Clients are contractually and ethically required to provide completely accurate, and honest information regarding their mental health history on intake, screening, and when filling in consent forms prior to commencing treatment.
14.2 Discovery of Inaccurate Information
If it becomes apparent throughout a session or a treatment that a Client has withheld information, provided inaccurate details, or subsequently discloses a current or historic conditions such as: bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, personality disorders, self-harm, suicidal thoughts or suicidal attempts, the sessions will be brought to a supportive conclusion, and the Client will be safely directed to seek immediate assistance from their GP, emergency services, or an appropriate medical specialist.
The termination of hypnotherapy services is implemented strictly to prioritize Client safety. It ensures that an individual experiencing severe distress or complex mental health needs is not left in an under-equipped complementary therapy environment, but is instead promptly, responsibly, and safely redirected to appropriate professional medical oversight.
Any prepaid fees for future sessions that have not yet been attended will be refunded in full, while fees for sessions already delivered remain completely non-refundable.
The refund will be processed directly back to the original PayPal account for payments originally made via PayPal.
If payment was originally made via bank transfer, the Client is required to provide their valid bank account name, sort code, and account number via email they used for booking, so that a secure return transfer can be completed.
Where an outstanding session was offered as a complimentary or free part of a prepaid package, any refund will be calculated by taking the total aggregate amount paid for that package and dividing it equally by the total number of sessions included in that package.
Separately, if a complimentary session was gifted entirely outside of a prepaid package as a gesture of goodwill, that session carries a cash value of zero pounds and no refund or financial compensation will be owed for it if it is not attended.
15. Zero Tolerance for Abusive or Inappropriate Behaviour
15.1 In-Session Conduct
The Practice operates a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding abusive, aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour during live appointments. If a Client exhibits any form of offensive language, harassment, or inappropriate conduct during a session, the Hypnotherapist reserves the right to terminate the appointment immediately. In such cases, no refund will be offered for that specific session during which the behaviour occurred.
15.2 Communication and Conduct outside of appointments
The zero-tolerance policy for abusive and inappropriate behaviours applies equally to all communication and interactions outside of scheduled sessions. If a Client engages in harassment, targeted digital communication, offensive language, or inappropriate conduct via any direct communication channels, email, telephone, third-party booking systems, or social media platforms, the Hypnotherapist reserves the right to bring the professional relationship to an immediate end.
15.3 Resulting Termination and Financial Outcomes
Where a breach of clause 15.1 or 15.2 occurs, all ongoing and future treatment agreements with the Client will be permanently cancelled.
The financial outcome of such a termination will follow these parameters:
• Any prepaid fees for future sessions that have not yet been attended will be refunded in full.
• The refund will be processed directly back to the original PayPal account for payments originally made via PayPal.
• If payment was originally made via bank transfer, the Client is required to provide their valid bank account name, sort code, and account number via their email address, they used for the original booking of hypnotherapy sessions, so that a secure return transfer can be completed.
• Where an outstanding session was offered as a complimentary or free part of a prepaid package, any refund will be calculated by taking the total aggregate amount paid for that package and dividing it equally by the total number of sessions included in that package.
• If a complimentary session was gifted entirely outside of a prepaid package as a gesture of goodwill, that session carries a cash value of zero pounds and no refund or financial compensation will be owed for it by the hypnotherapy Practice.
16. Governing Law
These terms are strictly governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these services will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
17. Changes to Terms
The Hypnotherapist reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes solely via the updated version of the Terms and Conditions published on this website, and no direct email notifications will be sent. Any such modifications will apply immediately to all new enquiries and future bookings, while active, prepaid blocks of work will remain governed by the terms in force at the time of booking.
